At Sun N Fun Sport Rentals, we prioritize your safety and enjoyment. Our rental guidelines ensure a fun and secure experience during your vespa rental on Fort Myers Beach.

Age Requirement

To rent and operate a Vespa, you must be 21 years or older, with a valid drivers license.

Restricted Areas

Please note that Vespas are not allowed on the sand of the beach, sidewalks or bike lanes.  Slow down for speed bumps and be mindful of raised manhole covers.

Geographic Boundaries

Vespas have no geographic restrictions.  Since they top out at 40-45 MPH, we ask that you use common sense and keep them on roads with reasonable speed limits.

Parking Responsibility

Please be aware that any parking violations or tickets incurred during your rental period are your responsibility.  Vespas cannot be parked on sidewalks or unofficial parking spots.

Operating Hours

Vespas can be driven anytime.  They all have the required lights for night driving.

Safety Rules

Please operate the Vespa responsibly.  Curb hopping, traffic weaving, riding in the center lane and riding in the bike lane are not allowed.

Respectful Driving

Please be considerate of our island and drive responsibly. Treat the Vespa as if it were your own. Failure to do so may result in refusal of future rentals.  Please note that driving under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited.  Have fun but be responsible.

Fuel

Our Vepas are all gas-powered and fuel is included in the cost of the rental.  There is no need to fill the tank before returning and gas refills are provided during the rental, if needed.

Vespa Issues

If you encounter any issues with the Vespa during your rental, please contact us directly and refrain from attempting to tow or fix it yourself.

Damage Liability

Please drive and care for our Vespas safely and responsibly. Any damages caused during your rental may result in additional charges.

Age Requirement

To rent a scooter, you must be 18 years or older.  Operators must have a valid driver’s license to drive our scooters.  If you are less than 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must make the reservation and sign the waiver.

Scooters can be driven the entire length of Estero Island (Fort Myers Beach).  They can cross the north bridge and go as far as the 2^nd stoplight.  They can also cross the south bridge to access Lover’s Key Resort and Lover’s Key State Park.

Beach Wheelchair delivery on Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Beach is free of charge for rentals of 3 days and longer. Delivery is not available to any other location. Deliveries must be confirmed with a phone call (239-233-1046) even when booking online.

Bicycle delivery on Fort Myers Beach is free of charge for rentals of 3 days and longer but we do prefer that you pick up at our location (1821 Estero Blvd). Picking up allows you to select a bike (in most cases) and a helmet that fits, if you want a helmet. Deliveries must be confirmed with a phone call (239-233-1046) even when booking online.

Bicycle delivery to other locations, for rentals of 1 week or longer, is available for an additional charge. That charge is determined by the mileage. Deliveries must be confirmed with a phone call (239-233-1046) even when booking online. NOTE: Kid Trailers are not available for delivery.

Scooters and Vespas cannot be delivered

E-Beach Wagon delivery on Fort Myers Beach is free of charge. Delivery to other locations is available for rentals of 3 days and longer for an additional charge. That charge is determined by the mileage. Deliveries must be confirmed with a phone call (239-233-1046) even when booking online.
