Who is Steve Larson
Steve Larson is the co-owner and day-to-day operator of Sun-N-Fun Sport Rentals, located at 1821 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931. He lives on Fort Myers Beach full-time, not a remote owner managing from afar, but a local who knows every road, every neighborhood, and every shortcut on the island.
Steve launched his first beach rental operation in October 2019 under MADL LLC, simultaneously standing up locations at both Fort Myers Beach and Marco Island. For years he ran both simultaneously, building the operational playbook for what a locally-owned beach rental business looks like when it’s done right. In late 2025, he sold the Marco Island operation to focus entirely on Fort Myers Beach, where he lives, works, and knows every customer by name.
Sun-N-Fun is the only rental company with a physical storefront located directly on Fort Myers Beach. Customers don’t wait for a delivery van, they walk in, talk to Steve or his local staff, pick their ride, and go. That walk-in, on-the-island advantage is the foundation of everything Steve writes and shares about beach transportation on FMB.
